I love the ruralness of this forest but pubic access is severely lacking. What the state is actually doing is protecting private property owners by putting this Forest land with no access

Really pretty, much mosquitos. Come equipped with long sleeves and but repellent.
Enjoyed the beauty of up michigan
Wonderful interesting place to visit for free and it is OK to bring pets. It is on lake Michigan and there is a sugar sand beach and beautiful views in every direction.
